Eli Thero is an exceptionally talented musician, composer, and performer whose acoustical guitar style brings a Spanish flair to modern and alternative music, creating a comforting yet exciting experience. Born in Ormond Beach, Florida, Eli began playing guitar professionally at the age of 12, inspired by his devotion to music and the numerous performance opportunities in the Daytona area. Over the years, he honed a distinctive acoustic style characterized by fluid tremolo and sweep picking runs, dynamic chord arrangements, and expressive bends.
Before moving to NYC in 2026, Eli performed lead guitar at numerous live music venues, including multiple bookings as the headline act at the Hard Rock Hotel's Wave Terrace stage, and he became a regular solo performer at restaurant venues in historic downtown St. Augustine. In addition to being an experienced stage performer, Eli recently composed, recorded and produced a solo alternative rock album under the band name, Mother Monica. Whether performing solo or with a full band, Eli delivers an immersive musical experience that resonates with audiences long after the final note.
